I remember back when I had to hunt for my "romantic horror" pretty hard. Now the market is flooded. I avoided this one for a long time because it seemed like a joke. Well, it is, kinda. The author does have a voice that lends more towards the comedic side. But, I needed a change of pace and this certainly provided it.My best advice is to try the first few pages over some coffee or tea in the bookstore if your Uncertain. Maybe it's not for you. Maybe you'll be drawn to it at a later date. Or maybe you'll find a sudden need to devour them all.And... I can't help but picture Reese Witherspoon as Betsy. lol.
